The ideal candidate has deep production AWS and Amazon EKS experience, strong CI/CD and automation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn production AWS infrastructure, including EKS, EC2, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, CloudWatch, WAF, and related services.\nOperate and troubleshoot EKS clusters, Kubernetes workloads, networking, autoscaling, upgrades, and Helm deployments.\nBuild and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab across development, staging, and production.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Python, Bash, and infrastructure-as-code practices.\nMaintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident-response processes; participate in on-call production support.\nImprove platform reliability, availability, security, performance, scalability, and AWS cost efficiency.\nImplement cloud security controls, IAM least privilege, secrets management, patching, backup, and disaster recovery.\nCollaborate with developers to improve release automation, deployment safety, and operational processes.\nRequirements\nAt least 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering experience, ideally in a startup or fast-growing SaaS company.\nStrong production experience with AWS and Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Linux.\nProven experience with both Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, plus Terraform infrastructure as code.\nSolid AWS networking knowledge: VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, and DNS.\nExperience with monitoring and troubleshooting distributed production services; scripting with Python or Bash.\nAbility to independently own infrastructure, resolve incidents, and support a high-availability multi-tenant SaaS platform.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\nMulti-region deployments, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, or advanced AWS networking.\nGitOps, FinOps, DevSecOps, and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance experience.\nWhat We Value\nOwnership, practical problem-solving, an automation-first mindset, strong collaboration, and the ability to balance rapid delivery with production stability and security.\nAppdome is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
