We are seeking an Enablement Engineer to support our customers in APAC.\nIn this role, you will focus on customer retention and growth by building trusted relationships, understanding customers’ security objectives, and driving successful outcomes.\nThe Enablement Engineer (EE) is a technical advocate for Appdome in pre-sales, trials, onboarding, and upsell engagements. This role partners with Sales and Service Delivery to demonstrate Appdome’s value, remove technical barriers, and enable prospects, partners, and customers to succeed with Appdome across their lifecycle.\nIn this role you will introduce Appdome to prospects and partners through compelling presentations and product demonstrations. Scope and qualify technical requirements for trials, proof of value (POVs), and customer onboarding. Lead POVs and technical evaluations, define success criteria, and guide customers toward successful outcomes. Drive adoption and expansion through onboarding workshops, training, and introductions to new offerings. Advocate for customer needs internally, collaborating with Product, Sales, and Service Delivery teams.\nEnablement includes all pre-sales and upsell enablement, POV leadership, onboarding, training, and partner enablement, as well as active engagement with customers on new offerings.\nResponsibilities:\nAs a Domain Expert:\nDeliver Appdome platform demos and technical presentations.\nTrain partners and sales teams on positioning and technical usage.\nMaintain updated CDA templates, RFP materials, and enablement assets.\nRepresent Appdome at partner events, webinars, and industry sessions.\nUse Appdome product and new features with a critical eye, raise bugs, provide feedback, and suggest improvements to ensure product quality.\nScoping & Pre-Sales Engagement:\nDocument prospect requirements in Hubspot with full technical context.\nDraft scopes, validate with leadership, and ensure completeness for POVs.\nManage enablement engineering data entries, ensuring fields are updated in CRM.\nProof-of-Value (POV) Leadership:\nConduct POV preparation meetings, aligning on requirements and expectations.\nRegister POVs in Totango, manage trial teams, and coordinate with SDEs for technical setup.\nRun POV workshops and trial wrap sessions.\nMaintain close contact with prospects during trials, escalating technical issues to SDE as needed.\nSales & Upsell Support:\nSupport Sales Rep in verifying quote sheet scope when required.\nParticipate in pricing and commercial discussions where scope influences strategy.\nDefend Appdome’s value during customer proposal meetings.\nLead enablement for new product offerings and upsell trials.\nOnboarding & Go-Lives:\nLead kickoff calls, onboarding workshops, and training sessions.\nManage Totango entries for onboarding progress.\nCollaborate with SDEs during go-lives, leading high-stakes or complex implementations and supporting standard ones.\nPromote Enablement Function:\nDevelop training decks, onboarding content, and enablement sessions.\nProvide ongoing partner and reseller enablement.\nServe as trusted technical point of contact for prospects and customers adopting new Appdome features.\nHandoff Model with Service Delivery:\nTrials: EE leads trial definition, scope, workshops, and prospect engagement. SDE manages technical team setup and ticket handling.\nOnboarding: EE leads kickoff and workshops. SDE assumes long-term technical account management from that point.\nGo-Lives: EE plays an active role in selective named accounts, SDE leads streamlined go-lives. SDETL provides escalation support.\nRequirements\nCore Technical & Domain Requirements\nStrong understanding of mobile application architecture, including client-server communication, APIs, and SDK integration.\nHands-on experience with application security concepts such as encryption, authentication, certificate pinning, runtime protection, and threat models.\nAbility to analyze mobile app behavior using logs, debuggers, proxies (e.g., network traffic inspection), and monitoring tools.\nFamiliarity with cloud-native SaaS platforms, including deployment models, subscription licensing, and feature-based packaging.\nExperience supporting technical evaluations, proofs-of-concept, or trials in customer-facing environments.\nPre-Sales & Enablement Skills\nProven ability to translate customer business objectives into technical requirements and solution designs.\nExperience leading technical workshops, demos, and enablement sessions for diverse audiences (developers, security teams, executives).\nStrong capability to own technical success during trials, POVs, and onboarding engagements.\nComfortable acting as a technical authority in sales cycles without being\nAbility to support upsell and expansion motions by identifying technical value and aligning it with customer needs.\nCustomer & Partner Engagement\nExperience working with partners, resellers, or system integrators, including technical onboarding and ongoing enablement.\nSkilled at managing multiple stakeholders across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.\nAbility to advocate for customer needs internally and influence product roadmap and feature prioritization.\nComfortable handling high-stakes customer interactions, including escalations and executive-facing meetings.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong technical knowledge of mobile applications, Android and iOS platforms, and application security fundamentals highly preferred.\n5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as solutions engineering, technical enablement, implementation, or technical consulting.\nProven ability to scope technical requirements, define success criteria, and lead proofs of value and technical evaluations.\nExcellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver product demonstrations and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.\nExperience delivering customer onboarding, hands-on workshops, and technical training.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with ownership of technical issues through resolution.\nAbility to collaborate across Product, Sales, and Service Delivery teams while managing multiple customer engagements.\nAbility to connect product capabilities to customer goals and support ongoing adoption and expansion.\nSuccessful experience in start-up and large company environments \nBachelor’s degree in a related field \nThis role is based in either Manila, Philippines, or Singapore.\nApplicants must currently reside in one of these locations and be legally authorized to work in their country of residence.\n Fluency in written and spoken English is required.\nAppdome is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.\nActual compensation as well as title, are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications, among others.\nThe total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
