You'll be at the forefront of designing, conducting, and presenting data-driven analyses that enhance decision-making capabilities across Appfire.\nYou will be part of Appfire’s central data insights team, providing data and analytics partnerships to support our strategic pillars. You'll dive deep into our data to help answer questions at the heart of our company's growth:\nWhat metrics signify customer value?\nWho are our customers, and how do they engage?\nHow should Appfire view our business, partners, and products?\nWhat metrics bring teams together across a common purpose?\nWhat new value can be uncovered from newly wrangled datasets?\nYou will be a thought partner for these and other initiatives, leveraging your advanced data analysis skills and business partnerships to scale data-informed and insight-led decisions at all levels.\nWhat you'll do:\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex, ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.\nAnalyze customer, product, partner, and financial performance to identify key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic and operational decisions.\nConduct deep dive and exploratory, and ad hoc analyses that improve our understanding of the business and uncover new opportunities for growth and optimization.\nDefine, develop, and evolve business metrics and analytical frameworks that create a consistent view of performance across teams.\nBuild scalable data models, analyses, dashboards, and other analytical solutions that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions independently.\nCollaborate with Analytics Engineering and other data partners to improve the quality, usability, and accessibility of data used for analysis and decision-making.\nWhat you'll need:\n5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role, with a track record of using data to influence business decisions.\nAdvanced SQL skills and hands-on experience working with large, complex datasets.\nStrong experience with dbt or a comparable data transformation and modeling framework.\nExperience using business intelligence and visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms to deliver decision-ready insights.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous questions, identify meaningful patterns, and translate analysis into clear recommendations.\nExperience partnering directly with stakeholders across multiple business functions and independently owning analytical work from initial question through final recommendation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to explain complex analyses clearly and influence both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leaders.\nExperience analyzing a B2B software or SaaS business, with an understanding of customer journeys, product performance, and recurring-revenue business models.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence\nExperience with Sigma\nExperience with Salesforce data\nExperience using AI-assisted analytics or development tools such as Claude or Cursor\nExperience analyzing B2B SaaS business models and customer journeys\nExperience in a global, remote-first software company\nWhat we offer:\nJoin global, product (SaaS) organization with employees across 28 countries.\nEquity - Every Appfire team member is eligible for company equity, fostering a true sense of ownership and connection to our growth.\nGenerous PTO and additional 3 fully paid days each year to participate in our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program supporting local communities.\ncomprehensive coverage through Empire Health.\nAnnual Sport Allowance.\nThe role is fully remote for candidates based in the US or Canada.\nMarket recognition\nAppfire has been consistently recognized for company growth, culture, corporate social responsibility, and product excellence and has been included among the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, Inc.
