You ask the right questions early, document your solutions, and remain committed to delivering high-quality results on time.\nYou Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:\nStrong professional experience developing backend applications and services using Python.\nHands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs with FastAPI.\nSolid experience with SQLAlchemy and relational databases.\nStrong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.\nHands-on experience with Celery for asynchronous task processing, scheduling, and background job orchestration.\nExperience designing and implementing microservices and integrating third-party APIs.\nUnderstanding of ETL architectures and data workflow orchestration.\nExperience deploying and running services in Kubernetes environments, with working knowledge of Docker.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure as the primary cloud platform.\nExperience with cloud authentication, authorization, and integrating applications with cloud services and external providers.\nUnderstanding of application reliability, error handling, troubleshooting, and maintainable software design.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.\nAbility to work autonomously, take ownership of deliverables, and follow established processes and documentation standards.\nStrong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a US-based team.\nYou Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain reliable backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.\nBuild and maintain microservices that support enterprise applications, integrations, and data and analytics operations.\nImplement database access and persistence layers using SQLAlchemy and relational databases.\nDevelop and manage asynchronous tasks, scheduled jobs, and background processing workflows using Celery.\nSupport ETL processes and data workflow orchestration to enable reliable data processing and integration.\nIntegrate applications with third-party APIs and Azure services, implementing appropriate authentication and access controls.\nContainerize applications using Docker and deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments.\nTroubleshoot technical issues, improve service reliability, and optimize application performance.\nContribute to dashboards and supporting services for enterprise data and analytics operations as needed.\nMaintain clear documentation of APIs, integrations, technical decisions, and development processes.\nCollaborate with team members to clarify requirements, identify potential risks, and deliver maintainable solutions.\nCommunicate progress, blockers, and risks proactively, proposing solutions and ensuring commitments are met.\n Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI for backend development.\nPractical experience with SQLAlchemy, relational databases, and SQL.\nExperience with Celery and asynchronous task orchestration.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with Azure cloud services, authentication, and third-party integrations.\nUnderstanding of ETL workflows, microservices, and API design.\nStrong ownership, autonomy, documentation, and communication skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English and collaborate with a US-based team.\n About Us\nWe Are Engineered Different.\nAt Applaudo, talented people design, build, and scale meaningful, AI-powered solutions that create real business impact.
