You stay calm under pressure and bring a hands-on, practical approach to keeping cloud workloads secure, observable, and cost-efficient.\nNote: This position is offered under a 3-month assignment (with the possibility of extension) and follows a hybrid model, with 3 to 4 days per week on-site and 1 to 2 days remote, Monday through Friday.\nYou Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.\n2+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or software development.\n1+ years of hands-on experience running workloads on GCP.\nWorking knowledge of Linux.\nWorking knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.\nWorking knowledge of Terraform.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and IP networking.\nAutonomy and strong problem-solving skills under pressure.\nWorking knowledge of English is required; Spanish will be the primary language of communication within the project.\nGoogle Associate Cloud Engineer certification is desired.\nYou Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:\nAdminister GKE (node pools and upgrades), Cloud Run, Compute Engine with MIGs, and App Engine.\nMaintain versioned Terraform code, CI/CD with Cloud Build, and images in Artifact Registry.\nManage the Cloud Storage lifecycle and high availability across Cloud SQL, Spanner, Firestore, or Memorystore.\nAdminister VPCs, subnets, Load Balancing, and Cloud NAT.\nApply least privilege with IAM, Service Accounts, and Workload Identity.\nImplement observability with Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring.\nApply FinOps practices, including right-sizing, labeling, and budgets.\nEnsure parity across environments and act as the first line of troubleshooting in production.\n 1+ years of hands-on experience running workloads on GCP.\n2+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or development.\nWorking knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.\nWorking knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and IP networking.\n About Us\nWe Are Engineered Different.\nAt Applaudo, talented people design, build, and scale meaningful, AI-powered solutions that create real business impact.
