You thrive in collaborative environments, adapt quickly to evolving technical challenges, and approach troubleshooting and continuous improvement with autonomy and accountability.\nYou bring to Applaudo the following competencies:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.\nStrong professional experience in Full Stack Development, delivering production-grade applications across frontend and backend environments.\nAdvanced proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including hands-on experience with Node.js.\nStrong experience developing modern web applications using React, preferably React 19, and libraries such as TanStack Router, TanStack Query, Mantine, or Zustand.\nProven experience developing serverless applications on AWS, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.\nStrong knowledge of NoSQL data modeling, particularly DynamoDB Single-Table Design and access-pattern optimization.\nExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs using OpenAPI specifications and Zod for schema validation.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and understanding of AWS IAM concepts.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines, SonarCloud, and ESLint.\nExperience developing unit tests using Vitest and supporting automated API and end-to-end testing with tools such as Playwright and Postman.\nKnowledge of secure coding practices, including PII and PCI security requirements.\nExperience working with Spec-Driven Development methodologies and tools such as Kiro.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with ownership of application deployment, reliability, and maintenance.\nAbility to work autonomously within established architectural patterns, technical standards, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).\nStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute effectively within Agile development teams.\nFluent English proficiency, both written and spoken.\nNice to Have:\nExperience working with SQL Server, particularly in data synchronization or integration environments.\nExperience with OpenSearch Serverless.\nKnowledge of event-driven architectures using Amazon EventBridge.\nAWS certifications at the Associate level or higher.\nYou will be accountable for the following responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain production-quality full-stack applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.\nBuild modern frontend features using React 19 and supporting libraries such as TanStack Router, TanStack Query, Mantine, and Zustand.\nDevelop and maintain AWS serverless backend services using Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.\nDesign and optimize DynamoDB data models using Single-Table Design and application access patterns.\nImplement RESTful APIs and validate inputs and outputs using OpenAPI-driven Zod schemas.\nProvision and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK while following established deployment and security practices.\nDevelop automated unit tests using Vitest and support API and end-to-end testing activities following established QA patterns.\nApply secure coding practices to protect sensitive personal and payment information.\nTake ownership of application deployments, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and system reliability.\nCollaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.\nFollow established architecture decisions, coding standards, CI/CD workflows, and code quality practices.\nParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\nContribute to continuous improvements in application performance, maintainability, and engineering practices.\n About Us\nWe Are Engineered Different.\nAt Applaudo, talented people design, build, and scale meaningful, AI-powered solutions that create real business impact.
