You’re looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests and grow professionally while contributing to the design and evolution of enterprise data ecosystems.\nYou thrive in complex data environments where you can combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration to design scalable data architectures aligned with both business and technology needs.\nYou Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.\n6+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Platform Design.\nStrong experience designing and implementing data architecture solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.\nStrong expertise in data modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience applying them to data architecture and engineering solutions.\nStrong hands-on experience with Spark and dbt for scalable data processing and transformation.\nStrong experience designing and working with Snowflake and BigQuery cloud data platforms.\nStrong experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.\nExperience with metadata management and enterprise data architecture practices.\nExperience leading and supporting data governance initiatives.\nStrong strategic thinking and ability to translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable data solutions.\nStrong documentation skills with a focus on maintaining clear and consistent data architecture standards.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.\nFluent English proficiency.\nPreferred Certifications:\nTOGAF.\nAWS Data Architect.\nGoogle Cloud Data Engineer.\nCDMP (Certified Data Management Professional).\nYou Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:\nDefine and govern enterprise data architecture, ensuring data platforms, models, and data flows are scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy.\nDesign and evolve data ecosystems that support analytics, AI, and operational systems.\nDevelop and maintain data models, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, to support business and technical requirements.\nEstablish and maintain data architecture standards, principles, and guidelines across the organization.\nLead and support data governance practices to promote consistent, reliable, and well-managed data assets.\nDefine and oversee metadata management practices to improve data visibility, consistency, and usability.\nCollaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data architecture solutions.\nEvaluate and recommend data platforms and technologies based on scalability, performance, and business requirements.\nEnsure data architecture decisions support data quality, compliance, security, and long-term maintainability.\nDocument data architecture, models, standards, and architectural decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing and consistency across teams.\nProvide architectural guidance and technical direction to data engineering and technical teams.\nSupport cross-functional decision-making by ensuring data architecture remains aligned with organizational objectives.\n 6+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Platform Design.\nStrong experience with data modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.\nStrong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark, dbt, Snowflake, and BigQuery.\nExperience designing enterprise data architectures and supporting data governance initiatives.\nFluent English proficiency.\n About Us\nWe Are Engineered Different.\nAt Applaudo, talented people design, build, and scale meaningful, AI-powered solutions that create real business impact.
