Also, to help promote our booth / presence at trade shows via pre-event outreach.\nBenefits: Competitive compensation with hourly base and uncapped commissions | 100% remote w/ no office mandate | 20 paid company holidays | 12 PTO days annually | Amazing colleagues | Energetic culture that is positive and celebrates together | Inspiring mission & software product | Ability to grow your career at a fast-growing tech startup\nJob Description:\nThe Outbound Sales Development Representative will create demos for our Account Executives (AE’s) by making outbound phone calls and sending outbound emails to our lead lists.\nNote: All applications must be submitted in English.\nResponsibilities:\nOutbound Engagement: Focus 80%+ of your time on outbound calls and emails to engage SMB prospects.\nProduct Representation: Represent Applause with integrity, passion, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the product’s features and benefits.\nProspect Education: Help cold prospects understand the value of Applause software, building awareness and interest.\nDemo Scheduling: Set qualified demos for interested SMB prospects to meet with AEs, facilitating pipeline growth.\nTrade Show Engagement: Call trade show attendees, encourage booth visits, and follow up to nurture leads.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nSales Experience: 1-2+ years of experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding SDR quotas.\nCommunication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage SMB decision-makers effectively.\n Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with using sales CRMs (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage prospecting and pipeline activities.\nHigh-Volume Activity: Comfortable making 200+ outbound calls per day in a fast-paced environment.\nTime Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance high activity levels with effective follow-ups.\nRemote Effectiveness: Proven ability to work in a remote environment with excellent time management, a reliable internet connection, and zero noticeable latency.\nWork Flexibility: Ability to work an 8-hour shift within the hours of 7 AM - 7 PM EST to support client needs and outreach strategies.\nBenefits\nAbout Applause\n Applause is a SaaS start-up founded by experienced entrepreneurs and backed by the best VCs in Silicon Slopes.
