Work closely with architecture and RTL designers on verifying the functionality correctness of the design. Develop and lead testing plan and test environment. Develop complex tests in assembly, C, or vectors according to test plans. Develop coverage monitors and analyze coverage to ensure all the test cases in the plans are covered. Develop checkers or C-base transactor to verify the design. Own the verification of a certain area of functionality in a CPU design. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. of the applicable plan or program.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\nEducation and/or experience in the following skills are required:\nUtilizing digital logic design, computer architecture, and CPU microarchitecture to verify CPU design.\nUtilizing C or C++ and Verilog programming for testbench and test plan development.\nUtilizing skills in development of coverage monitors and providing coverage analysis to ensure test plan completeness.\nUtilizing skills in development of checkers and C-based transactors for design verification.\nUtilizing skills in assertion-based and formal verification techniques Assembly and C-based stimulus development and debugging.\nUtilizing skills in functional issue triaging and root cause, providing complete root cause analysis and functional debug analysis.\nUnderstanding and participating in silicon bring-up process to enable engineers to reproduce silicon issues on pre-silicon simulation environment.\nUtilizing skills in Hardware and software interface debugging and validation to identify, analyze and resolve complex issues between component and systems.\nProviding verification of complex data path and control logic structures to ensure the functionality correctness of the design.\nPreferred
