The team connects the systems that move products from factory to customer - bridging sales platforms with the operational infrastructure that keeps Apple running at scale and ensuring Apple's technology and business priorities move in lockstep.\nDescription\nDevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing our on-premises infrastructure through automation, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure management. This role partners closely with development, Architects, and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability, operational efficiency, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, and takes ownership of delivering secure, scalable, resillient, and maintainable solutions while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement.\nMinimum Qualifications\n4+ years of experience in DevOps supporting Linux-based on-premise environments.\nStrong experience administering Linux operating systems.\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nProficiency with Git and Git-based workflows.\nProficiency in scripting languages such as Python\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or work related experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with source control management using Git, including branching, merging, pull requests, and release versioning.\nExperience building and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD and GitOps workflows using tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker.\nExperience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible, and enterprise platform CLIs and SDKs for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.\nHands-on experience using Python to automate routine Operational tasks.\nSolid understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, load balancing, firewalls, and SSL/TLS.\nExperience with observability tools, including monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), logging (Splunk), and alerting/incident management (Alertmanager, PagerDuty).\nHands-on experience with Docker and container-based application deployment in enterprise on-premises environments is a plus.\nStay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and apply relevant solutions to improve delivery velocity, automation, observability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nExperience with Kafka, VectorDB, RDMBS and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra and/or Oracle) is a Huge Plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.\nAdaptable to changing priorities and evolving business
