Your team will be responsible for building the next generation of traffic mesh.\nIn this role, you will:\nDrive architectural decisions and development best practices to optimize performance.\nCollaborate closely with program management, product management, and our SRE partners.\nAlign with partner teams in Network, Compute, and Security.\nLead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, accountability, and technical excellence.\nDevelop and evolve the team's processes, values, and culture, with a focus on camaraderie, efficiency and simplicity.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelors degrees in Computer Science or related field.\n5+ years of experience in software engineering.\n2+ years of leadership experience in software engineering.\nA deep understanding of traffic management at scale at Layer 4 or 7 of the network OSI model.\nStrong communication skills with multiple cross-functional engineering and non-engineering partners.\nExperience with operating highly scalable distributed services.\nPreferred Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in software engineering in highly scalable distributed services.\n4+ years of management experience in software engineering.
