As the Reliability team, we are responsible for ensuring and improving the durability and reliability of Apple's products. To achieve that, we partner with multiple engineering teams from the beginning (concept) to the end (field returns) of a product lifecycle, while exploring new technologies and understanding how customers will use our products.\nIf you have a passion for constant learning and innovative engineering products, you will fit right in.\nDescription\nYou will help develop and implement creative reliability tests on new hardware programs, quantify reliability risk, support failure analysis resulting from these tests, and advise the executive team on the best path forward.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in technical field (mechanical engineering, materials engineering, electrical engineering, physics or related fields etc.).\nExcellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills.\nAbility to make clear and concise slides and presentations through keynote, excel, etc.\nPreferred Qualifications\nM.S. or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or an equivalent field.\nExperience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress Tests, Shock/Drop/Vibration Testing, Environmental Testing.\nStatistical experience such as Weibull, JMP, or familiarity with accelerated test models.\nSolid understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), with an imaginative approach to identifying unique failure mechanisms.\nFamiliar with Failure Analysis techniques (Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, Scanning Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy, etc.), and the ability to use failure analysis methodology to derive root causes of failure.\nDynamic engineer with a proactive, \"can-do\" attitude who thrives in ambiguity, solves problems creatively, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.\nCapable of handling multiple projects at once with strong attention to detail and a curiosity for how technologies work.\nExperience with AI, Vibe coding, programming or scripting is a
