Information Security protects Apple's information, including business, employee, and customer data wherever it goes. Description

The internship provides opportunities across many different teams in the security space, ranging from special projects for new business initiatives to operations in a rapidly growing and dynamic setting. Interns benefit from a combination of training and on-the-job work experience.

You will work cross-functionally with Apple’s corporate Information Security team and key Apple internal business teams to ensure the successful completion of critical Information Security initiatives.

- Penetration testing and application security assessments

High-performing interns will be eligible for full-time offers into Apple's Information Security Development Program (ISDP). ISDP is a rotational program that offers a customizable series of assignments, with the goal of developing well-rounded security professionals. Upon completion of the program, you will use your training and experience in roles with the Information Security organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, IT, or other related fields of study

Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: Server-side development (Python, Java, Golang, etc.), Web development (HTML, CSS), Machine Learning (Python, R), Data Processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark)

Preferred Qualifications

Leadership experience

Related internship experience

Excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills

Phenomenal verbal and written communication skills

Passion for discovering and researching emerging technologies in the space of Information Security

Ability to adapt quickly and prioritize as needed
