You will\nturn recent research into models that ship on millions of devices.\nDescription\nDesign, train and improve computer vision and VLM models for object understanding and\nrecognition.\nMake models robust to real-world conditions and across devices and fix failure modes on real\ndata\nDefine evaluations that reflect product quality, and use them to drive model decisions.\nDesign models for on-device constraints (memory, latency, power).\nMinimum Qualifications\nPh.D. or Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision or a related field,\nor equivalent industry experience.\nStrong foundations in computer vision and deep learning.\nTrack record of making models work in practice: end-to-end projects covering data, training\nand evaluation on real-world visual data.\nProficiency in Python and PyTorch or an equivalent deep learning framework.\nProficiency in using generative coding tools\nRigorous experimentation: clear baselines, ablations and meaningful evaluation sets.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPublications in top computer vision or machine learning venues (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV,\nNeurIPS, ICLR), ideally with released code or work transferred to a product.\nExperience in representation learning, such as self-supervised learning, metric learning,\nretrieval or recognition.\nExperience applying machine learning in an industry or product setting.\nExperience with knowledge distillation or model compression.\nFamiliarity with vision-language
