Join us in doing work that matters.\nDescription\nAs a Quality Engineer supporting Mail & Calendar Services, you will ensure the reliability and correctness of two critical infrastructure systems: Apple Corporate Mail and Corporate Calendar Server implementations. You’ll design validation strategies, build sophisticated testing tools, and provide the final sign-off that gives confidence to deploy changes affecting thousands of corporate users.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience\n5+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software testing roles\nDemonstrated deep expertise in email systems (IMAP, SMTP, mail migration) OR calendar systems (CalDAV, iCalendar, scheduling infrastructure), with strong analytical skills to learn the complementary domain\nProficiency in Python OR Java with experience building test automation frameworks and working with APIs\nExperience establishing data integrity verification procedures including message counts, content checksums, metadata preservation, and structural validation\nDemonstrated ability to write and maintain automated test plans suitable for CI/CD integration across server development and deployment workflows\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in BOTH email and calendar domains (ideal but not required-we value depth in one with ability to learn the other)\nBackground in enterprise email administration, IMAP/SMTP server operations, or CalDAV server implementations\nProficiency in both Python and Java testing ecosystems (TestNG, Gauge, BDD frameworks)\nExperience with large-scale data migration projects (>10,000 users or >1TB data) or high-availability calendar services\nDeep knowledge of RFC specifications: RFC 5545 (iCalendar), RFC 4791 (CalDAV), RFC 5322 (email format), RFC 3501 (IMAP)\nExperience with complex temporal logic (recurrence rules, timezone handling, DST transitions) or complex state machines (attendee workflows, event lifecycles)\nFamiliarity with Apple ecosystem technologies (iCloud, Mail.app, Calendar.app, iOS/macOS frameworks)\nExperience testing distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, or
