Engineering team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated individual to work on overall system performance of multi-radio coexistence for various wireless technologies (e.g., Cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, GPS, UWB, NFC).\nDescription\nYou will be responsible for assessing platform-level multi-radio coexistence performance, including:\n- Working with cross-functional partners to assess the multi-radio coexistence performance impact to the end user.\n- Working with wireless software partners to design the software mitigation scheme, assess the trade-offs and implementation path.\n- Bring-up device-under-test, setups and test procedures for multi-radio coexistence performance studies.\n- Analyze wireless logs to understand field usage patterns and incorporate these learnings to perform controlled bench performance studies for multi-radio coexistence.\n- Proposing HW/SW design and process changes for multi-radio coexistence issues considering design constraints and align with cross-functional partners on trade-offs and implementation path.\n- Execution of validation & characterization test plans to meet multi-radio coexistence performance targets.\n- Tracking validation status, analyze results and communicate insight from data.\n- Collaborating with cross-functional partners for circuit-level, system-level simulations to understand risk areas and root cause issues.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10+ years relevant work experience.\nExperience with at least one radio of Cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Thread, NFC, and UWB.\nKnowledge of RF component characteristics and experience using lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscopes, call box.\nKnowledge of wireless architectures including front-end, antenna sharing, link budget line-up.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in electrical engineering with 10+ years relevant work experience.\nExperience debugging and performing RF measurements at the conducted & radiated level.\nExperience on co-existence performance benchmark, impact analysis, software mitigation scheme, MAC/PHY and throughput measurement and debug.\nExperience working with chipset teams to define RF/wireless system-level requirements and influence chipset architecture or design decisions.\nFamiliarity with wireless protocol stack at the RF, PHY & MAC layers.\nExcellent communication written and verbal
