you are constantly looking to improve yourself and your team; and you ship code which millions of customers will use.\nDescription\n* Lead projects/programs through the software development lifecycle from planning (which includes scoping, prioritizing, resource allocation, and timelines) to launch.\n* Partner with stakeholders and ML engineers to define functional and technical requirements for model development, evaluation, and deployment, including data and serving infrastructure.\n* Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Product, QA, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Marketing, Operations, and other organizations both inside and outside of Apple to support AI/ML capabilities and foundational infrastructure in Apple Music.\n* Translate deeply technical work, such as model readiness, into clear executive updates and risk assessments.\n* Flexible working with teams across US timezones.\n* Help establish processes to improve how our products are built and executed.\nMinimum Qualifications\nSubstantial experience as an Engineering Program Manager.\nStrong technical program manager with a proven track record in driving software development initiatives.\nStrong ML fluency: hands-on experience driving ML programs, with a working understanding of model training, evaluation, and serving (e.g., offline/online metrics, offline/online evaluation, deployment tradeoffs).\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex dependency chains across multiple engineering organisations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperienced program manager with a proven track record in driving GenAI, machine learning, and software development initiatives.\nExperience in the music industry, including working with music labels, is a plus.\nUnderstanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies.\nStrong facilitation skills to drive complex, cross-functional, and comprehensive projects.\nExceptional verbal and written communication, including presentation skills to all levels of an organisation.\nExperience with establishing processes and/or team culture.\nPassionate about protecting privacy while delivering key product insights.\nPrior software development experience is a plus.\nComputer Science or Engineering majors preferred.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3435,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Flexible schedule"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Operating Systems","Laptops","Smartwatches & Fitness Trackers","Tablets"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-30T12:23:18Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker, Graduate Trainee, Senior or Specialist Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker;
