Together, those functions deliver the technology behind every product story Apple tells and every purchase a customer makes.\nDescription\nWe are seeking a full stack engineer with a passion for crafting visually stunning web applications that embody the Apple standard for design and usability, and for building the reliable services behind them. This role calls for a talented engineer who is deeply committed to building high-performance, accessible, and innovative solutions that serve our customers around the world.\nIn this role, you'll turn requirements and wireframes into high-performance web applications using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript best practices, and build the APIs and services that power them. With a keen eye for pixel-perfect detail, you'll make sure every user interaction is seamless and intuitive. Our ideal candidate brings demonstrated engineering expertise and a proven record of delivering innovative UI designs, building applications that are visually engaging as well as reliable and scalable. You will also have opportunities to use Generative AI and AI-assisted development to speed up engineering workflows, prototype ideas quickly, and build AI-powered user experiences.\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale enterprise or consumer-facing web applications.\nStrong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and experience with a framework such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.\nProven experience designing, building, and operating backend services and RESTful or GraphQL APIs in production using a server-side language such as Java, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js), etc.\nExperience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.\nExperience building responsive, cross-browser, accessible (WCAG) web UIs.\nProven experience optimizing performance across the stack, using techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, caching, query optimization, etc.\nExperience writing automated tests with frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, etc., and shipping through CI/CD pipelines.\nBS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience using AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools in day-to-day development.\nExperience with client-side state and data-fetching libraries such as Redux, Zustand, TanStack Query, etc., in complex applications.\nExperience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt, etc.\nExperience with cloud platforms and containers such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.\nExperience building design systems or component libraries with designers, using tools such as Figma, Storybook, Chromatic, etc.\nExperience with real-time technologies such as WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, streaming
