You will be part of a team doing pre/post-silicon bring- up, debug, validation and characterisation of analog and mixed signal Power Management circuits for battery operated portable devices.\nThis position is for an engineer with experience in system validation, who understands that the tight interaction between pre-silicon design and post-silicon validation is the key to shipping quality products. In this role, you will work closely with both IC Design teams, Firmware and System teams within Apple, as we drive execution from first silicon through to mass-production release.\nYou will be expected to participate in all levels of this process, including the definition of custom board-level hardware for IC bring-up and test, defining and implementing validation plans, and working with module and system teams to support their design integration and debug of system-level issues.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBS/MS/PhD in Electronic Engineering or related fields\nPreferred Qualifications\nFirst experience in the areas of system validation and ASIC design validation\nExperience with analog circuit measurement\nGood knowledge in Hardware Design tools, schematic entry and PCB design techniques\nStrong bringup and debugging skills and hands-on lab work.\nExperience with complex test equipment setups (scopes, programmable power supplies, spectrum/network analyzer, etc.)\nGood coding skills (Python, C++) and knowledge of test equipment programming for automating laboratory measurements\nExperience with switching converters and linear regulators (LDO)\nTechnical background in silicon validation, failure analysis and debug\nFamiliarity with Verilog or VHDL, FPGA prototyping\nGood understanding of embedded firmware/software development process is beneficial\nAn understanding of finite state machines, microcontroller architectures and mixed signal design is a plus\nProven analytical and problem solving abilities\nExcellent communication, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to collaborate\nAbility to work well on a diverse team, take ownership, and motivate self and others\nApple is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
