If you’d like to positively influence millions of customers’ experience of Apple through your technical contributions, this is the job for you.\nMinimum Qualifications\nIn depth hands-on experience operating managed Kubernetes (GKE and/or EKS) in a public cloud, with experience scaling distributed systems. Experience across multiple public clouds (GCP and AWS) strongly preferred.\nStrong experience with deploying, supporting and supervising new and existing services, platforms and application stacks\nExperience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning\nPassion for eliminating repetitive manual processes using automation to improve them through repeated iteration\nConfirmed ability to write programs using a high-level programming language like: Java, Swift, Python, or TypeScript\nProclivity towards efficient programming emphasizing improvement via complexity analysis.\nExperience with Nginx, Envoy, Prometheus, and/or Docker.\nPreferred Qualifications\nUnderstanding of standard networking protocols and components such as: HTTP, DNS, ECMP, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting and Load Balancing strategies.\nUnderstanding of the Linux Operating System, including Kernel, Memory, Process, Threads, Static / Shared Libraries, IPC, Signals.\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code and config-as-code tooling such as Pulumi, Terraform, or Pkl.\nExperience with fleet/cluster lifecycle management, node provisioning, and hardware-adjacent reliability (e.g., GPU health, capacity management) at scale.\nExperience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3229,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Operating Systems","Laptops","Smartwatches & Fitness Trackers","Tablets"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-09T00:54:32Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker, Graduate Trainee, Senior or Specialist Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker;
