The Quality Engineer in this role will play a key role in delivering highly critical Identity Management features to customers on iOS, macOS and Web in addition to supporting the development of test frameworks for automation & test management tools.\nDescription\nJoin Apple’s Identity Management Services (IdMS) team as a Software Development Engineer in Test and help shape the next generation of secure, innovative services. We are looking for a passionate and driven engineer with deep experience in quality engineering, test tool development, and large-scale distributed systems.\nIn this role, you will lead end-to-end quality efforts across Web, iOS, macOS, and other platforms. You will design, build, and maintain robust automated test frameworks aimed at maximizing automation coverage and accelerating release cycles. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will develop comprehensive test strategies to deliver high-quality, resilient products. As a quality champion, you will proactively identify workflow bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements across the software development lifecycle.\nThis is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact millions of Apple users around the world.\nMinimum Qualifications\n3+ years of proven experience in Software Development/Quality Engineering\nStrong passion for quality assurance in software, including developing and maintaining automated test libraries and tools\nStrong programming and software design skills, preferably in Java, Swift and/or Python\nExcellent knowledge of and experience with test methodologies ranging from functional unit tests to non-functional exploratory testing\nExperience in building automated UI and non-UI tests for user facing applications or system frameworks.
