Your work will be highly cross-functional, requiring collaboration with design, algorithms, software, AI, evaluation, services, privacy, security, performance, and hardware teams across Apple to define requirements and build end to end user facing features. You will work with foundation models in delivering intelligence powered experiences. This includes deciding what contextual signals to surface, structuring them through prompts, retrieval, or tool outputs, and making sure models use that information faithfully without over-relying on it, hallucinating, or using it inappropriately. You will also need to apply excellent UX intuition to identify and shape feature opportunities, iterate with design, and define technical requirements that drive development.\nMinimum Qualifications\n7+ years in software development\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience\nStrong programming skills in Swift and deep understanding of data structures, memory management, and concurrency\nSystems thinking, including ability to break down ambiguous problems and drive clarity on critical details\nDemonstrated ability to implement dialog-driven user experience design into technical requirements and working features\nSolid cross-functional collaboration and technical communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in context engineering with large foundation models and evaluating outputs\nShipping customer-facing features or products to production at scale\nDeveloping for Apple platforms using Apple system frameworks like SwiftUI\nBuilding & shipping features using LLMs and/or Machine Learning algorithms, including on-device inference, data-driven validation, requirement definition, and collaboration with algorithm teams\nProcessing sensor data (e.g. image/video, audio, motion)\nDeveloping & validating personalization features, including working with sensitive data such as conversation transcripts\nDeveloping under strict privacy and security constraints, including techniques like secure data processing, and/or privacy-by-design principles\nDeveloping system software or frameworks, including API definition and performance optimization (particularly for resource constrained or real-time
