We love talking to and working with our users every day to enable them to do their best work.\nWe want someone that has experience taking an idea from the whiteboard to production and then scale it.\nDescription\nThe GSSM organization enables the mass production of Apple's entire product line from iPhones, iPads and MacBooks to the Mac Pro, AppleTV, Apple Watch and Vision Pro. Part of the magic that makes all of this possible is a robust set of applications and systems designed and developed by Apple that support the production of a product from prototype to announcement and beyond.\nThe applications we build are used daily by the people at Apple that manage supply, cost, BOM across all products and regions. We have a large cross functional user group including Global supply managers, Material Program managers, Ops Finance, Legal, Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers. We work closely with them to design and architect the best solutions for the challenges faced when making the highest quality hardware products.\nWe are actively expanding our AI capabilities to drive daily efficiencies, pushing to develop cutting-edge solutions that leverage MCP and agentic technologies to revolutionize supply chain management for Apple. This role demands a deep understanding of AI principles, practical experience in building and deploying AI-powered applications, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible. You will be instrumental in driving the next generation of AI capabilities within GSSM, directly impacting Apple's ability to deliver its products at scale.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelors degree\n- 3+ years of professional experience in product management, technical support, or another customer-facing technical role\n- Hands-on experience contributing to AI products, such as LLM-powered tools, agents, or MCP-based integrations, through professional work, internal projects, or significant self-directed work\n- A strong product mindset and a habit of starting from user problems before choosing solutions\n- Ability to turn user feedback, support trends, and data into clear problem statements and priorities\n- Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical ideas to non-technical audiences\n- Ability to work with engineers and designers, discuss tradeoffs respectfully, and choose between competing needs\nPreferred Qualifications\n- Experience defining or contributing to a product vision, strategy, or roadmap\n- Experience writing use cases, user stories, or requirements for design and engineering teams\n- Familiarity with user research, usability testing, or product analytics\n- Experience building and testing AI workflows with agents, prompt design, evaluation, or tool and MCP integrations\n- A track record of shipping features or improvements that users found intuitive and delightful\n- Comfort presenting product decisions and progress to stakeholders and leadership\n- A background working directly with end users, such as retail, support, or field roles, that shows real understanding of user pain points\n- Interest in learning supply chain processes and consumer product design and becoming deeply familiar with them (prior experience is not
