Our team drives the performance of next-generation optical components by advancing lens manufacturing processes and developing cutting-edge optical elements.\nDescription\nProjects and assignments will be tailored to each intern’s technical background, strengths, and research interests.\nResponsibilities may include:\nFabricating precision test samples using state-of-the-art ultra-precision injection molding systems.\nEvaluating surface finish and dimensional accuracy using high-precision 3D optical profilers and metrology tools.\nAnalyzing process data to optimize molding parameters and develop novel process capabilities.\nProposing and validating innovative concepts to advance current optical component manufacturing processes.\nMinimum Qualifications\nDemonstrated interest in ultra-precision injection molding and precision manufacturing technologies.\nStrong academic track record in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Optical Engineering, or a related field.\nHands-on experience with precision/ultra-precision injection molding machines, tooling, or related laboratory equipment.\nAbility to independently design, plan, and execute experimental trials with a creative problem-solving mindset.\nFluency in both Japanese and English, with excellent verbal, written, and technical presentation skills.\nWork authorization for Japan.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStart date and duration are flexible and will be coordinated around each student’s academic calendar and university research
