In 2026 we're deploying our systems across partner sites in North America.\nThe Role\nThe Field Technician is the \"eyes and the brain\" of our pioneering mobile pyrolysis systems, which convert agricultural residue into biochar. Running our proprietary equipment requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, plus the ability to monitor and adjust process parameters in real-time. The position involves routine exposure to heat, cold, sun, rain, dust, dirt, noise, vibration, equipment exhaust, moving machinery, vehicle traffic, uneven ground, and airborne particulates. Agricultural and biomass materials may produce dust, mold, allergens, or other naturally occurring biological contaminants.\nThe employee must maintain situational awareness, follow all established safety procedures, and use PPE appropriate to the task and work area. PPE may include safety footwear, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, high-visibility garments, hard hats, and respiratory protection when required. The employee must not operate equipment unless authorized and trained and must comply with all applicable lockout/tagout, machine-guarding, traffic-control, hazard-communication, and emergency-response procedures.\nRequirements\nMust be available to work on-site at our Houston headquarters and be willing to travel up to 50% of your time.
