The candidate will perform security compliance assessments, identify gaps, drive remediation activities, and work closely with network, cloud, security, and operations teams to maintain a secure and compliant environment. The role requires strong expertise in network security technologies, firewall management, security hardening, vulnerability management, access governance, change management, and compliance auditing.\n\nThe candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions: \n\nFirewall and Security Policy Compliance: \nConduct periodic firewall rule reviews and security policy audits.\nIdentify and remediate: Zero-hit firewall rules, Redundant or duplicate rules, expired temporary access rules, and overly permissive access policies.\nReview and optimise Disaster Recovery (DR) firewall configurations.\nEnsure firewall policies align with security and regulatory standards.\n\nNetwork Security Compliance Reviews: \nPerform compliance assessments against security baselines and organisational standards.\nValidate network segmentation and access controls.\nReview and maintain network security architecture documentation.\n\nNetwork Documentation and Inventory Management: \nCreate and maintain network diagrams and security architecture documentation.\nMaintain accurate inventory of: Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Security Appliances, Cloud Network Components.\n\nAccess Management and Governance: \nPerform periodic user access reviews.\nValidate privileged account access.\nEnsure least-privilege access principles are followed.\nCoordinate access certification and recertification activities.\nSecurity Hardening: Review and implement network device hardening standards.\nConduct periodic hardening audits for: Firewalls, Routers o Switches, VPN Devices, Cloud Network Security Components.\nTrack and manage recurring hardening activities.\n\nChange and Incident Management: \nReview and implement network security change requests.\nParticipate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) activities.\nHandle emergency changes and ensure proper documentation.\nPerform post-change validation and risk assessment.\n\nRisk Assessment and Remediation: \nConduct risk assessments for insecure services and ports.\nIdentify security gaps and recommend remediation measures.\nTrack remediation activities until closure.\nPrepare risk treatment plans and compliance reports.\n\nPatch and Vulnerability Management: \nEnsure network and security devices are maintained at N-1 software versions. Coordinate firmware and software upgrades.\nTrack and remediate vulnerabilities identified through: Vulnerability Assessments, Security Scans, Penetration Testing VAPT Management Coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).\nAnalyse findings and prioritise remediation. Validate closure of vulnerabilities.\nPrepare management reports and compliance evidence.\n\nDNS Security Review: \nReview DNS architecture and configurations.\nValidate DNS security controls.\nIdentify unauthorised or risky DNS configurations.\nEnsure DNS compliance with security standards.\n\nAsset Lifecycle Management: \nTrack AMC contracts and warranty status.\nMonitor: o Hardware End of Life (EOL), Software End of Life (EOL), End of Support (EOS).\nDrive technology refresh and remediation planning.\n\nAudit and Compliance Support: \nSupport internal and external audits.\nProvide compliance evidence and documentation.\nAssist with remediation of audit observations.\nEnsure adherence to standards such as: RBI Guidelines, ISO 27001 PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2\n\nRequirements: \nStrong understanding of network security architecture and compliance requirements.\nExperience managing enterprise firewalls and cloud network security controls.\nAbility to perform security assessments and drive remediation activities independently.\nExcellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience supporting regulatory audits and security governance programs.\nStrong analytical mindset with a focus on risk reduction and continuous improvement.\n\nRequired Technical Skills: \nNetworking TCP/IP Routing & Switching BGP OSPF VLANs
