This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ASC 842, supporting the month-end close process, and collaborating cross-functionally to maintain financial accuracy and process efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting principles, analytical skills, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain accounting system including booking journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis.\nSupport month-end and year-end close activities related to accrued liabilities and prepaids, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and variance reviews.\nEnsure accuracy and completeness of all assigned financial reporting areas.\nAdhere to and support internal control processes and policies.\nCollaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit procedures.\nConduct ad hoc financial analysis to assist in management decision-making and strategic planning.\nEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.\nIdentify and implement process improvements and efficiencies within accounting workflows and systems.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to gather required financial data and support business initiatives.\nStay informed on updates in accounting regulations and industry best practices to maintain expertise in financial reporting standards.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience \nMinimum of 2 years of general accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting \nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) \nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities \nHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracy \nAbility to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities \nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams \nComfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCPA certification is strongly preferred.\nExperience in Data Center, Technology Infrastructure, or Energy Operations industries.\nFamiliarity with lease accounting (ASC 842) and operating cost allocation.\nPlease note that Applied Digital is currently unable to sponsor new applicants for employment authorization or provide immigration-related support for this position.
