This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a software engineer with a passion for improving developer experience and deployment processes. In this role, you will work across engineering teams to identify key sources of friction, improve workflows, develop new tools, and generally uplevel the velocity and reliability of the entire software, and automotive development and deployment lifecycle.\nAt Applied Intuition, you will:\nDesign, build, and improve the tools, libraries, and frameworks for our engineering team\n\nBuild and test scalable tools for deploying to various automotive and cloud platforms\n\nOptimize our compile/build times using tools like Bazel, CMake, Docker\n\nImprove software deployment and data collection frameworks\n\nIdentify and solve bottlenecks within our software stack\n\nWe're looking for someone who has:\n2+ years of relevant experience\n\nExperience designing, provisioning, and maintaining public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).\n\nSelf-starter with a \"can-do\" attitude, high energy, and the independence to drive projects forward\n\nStrong expertise in Python\n\nExperience with CI, build, and deployment technologies like Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, and comfortability with scripting for automation\n\nExperience with Linux\n\nNice to have:\nExperience using Go, C and C++\n\nExperience working with autonomous systems, especially for trucking use cases\n\nExperience working in automotive or related industries\n\nExperience with deploying software on either public clouds (e.g., AWS) or on-premise clusters\n\nCompensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
