This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a Product Designer who can blend tools and HMI design to shape the software our fleet, mission control, and vehicle management systems run on. As part of Applied Intuition's design team, you will play a critical role in shaping the design direction of this new project with strategic importance to Applied Intuition.\nAt Applied Intuition, you will:\nLead design across fleet management, mission control systems, OTA update flows, vehicle management software, and our internal \"workbench\" vehicle OS tooling.\n\nMove fluidly between defense and commercial/trucking use cases, treating them as related design problems.\n\nCollaborate closely with product managers and engineers to create and validate design solutions across tools and vehicle interfaces.\n\nWork quickly to ship new features in fast release cycles.\n\nTake on significant ownership and autonomy - this role is designed as an accelerator for someone ready to lead.\n\nWe're looking for someone who has:\n5-7 years of experience in product, tools, or interaction design, spanning enterprise, commercial, or consumer-facing products.\n\nBachelors' degree in design or relevant field\n\nStrong visual and interaction design skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAn entrepreneurial mindset - comfort taking ownership of ambiguous problems with minimal oversight.\n\nNice to have:\nBackground in game design or interactive/real-time systems\n\nExperience at defense, space, or robotics companies\n\nExperience at AI/agentic companies\n\nExperience building 0-to-1 tools or internal software platforms.\n\nCompensation\nCompensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
