You'll begin by owning the technical work: bringing our L2++ stack up on vehicles with Japanese OEMs and setting the architecture the team will build on.\nAt Applied Intuition, you will:\nLead a world-class group of engineers focused on building and deploying scalable behavior systems for cars\n\nOwn technical delivery of SDS for Japanese customers\n\nServe as the primary technical partner to Japanese OEM engineering teams\n\nDefine the Tokyo team's engineering roadmap in partnership with SDS teams in HQ\n\nDrive the overall strategy, technical roadmap, and architecture dedicated to L2 and L4 autonomous vehicles for cars\n\nWe're looking for someone who has:\n6+ years of experience building software for autonomous vehicles, robotics, or ADAS, including work that shipped\n\nStrong C++ with a track record of production-quality code in safety-relevant or real-time systems\n\nDepth in at least two of: perception, prediction, behavior and motion planning, control, sensor fusion, on-vehicle systems and middleware\n\nExperience taking a system from prototype to on-vehicle deployment\n\nDemonstrated ability to architect large-scale, production software for real-world robotic or automotive systems\n\nProven leadership experience managing engineering teams, setting goals, and overseeing technical projects\n\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\n\nNice to have:\nDirect experience on a production L2/L2++ program that reached customer vehicles\n\nBusiness-level English and Japanese\n\nPrior experience leading engineering teams\n\nBenefits and Perks:\nLunch and dinner allowance\n\nEquity (RSU) offering\n\nEnglish / Japanese language allowance\n\nCompany sponsored housing program\n\nPension plan (確定拠出年金)\n\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
