Learn more about our benefits.\nAs a Buyer, you’ll be responsible for purchasing the materials, supplies, machinery, and services that equip our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You’ll collaborate across teams and showcase your organization and strategic planning skills to monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling, negotiate with suppliers, and procure essential items that transform possibilities into realities for our customers and teams.Role Responsibilities:\nEnsure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. Adhere to standard purchasing business processes\nProactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to Applied factories, including resolution of shipment/receiving and billing issues with supplier\nPartner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand\nDrive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts\nNegotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need, with support from more experienced buyer\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers) to resolve supply issue\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field\nGPA of 3.0 or above preferred \nPreferred Qualifications:\nUp to 1 year of related experience \nBasic understanding of material cost management, shortage management, supplier capability, purchase order management and other materials/equipment buying processes \nApplications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
