This role plays a critical part in crafting narratives and producing content that will ensure that our employees are well-informed and connected to this fast-growing organization.\nWhile Internal Communications will be the primary area of responsibility, the role will also provide strategic communications support across the Communications & Public Affairs team, including leadership communications, external communications, media relations, public affairs, events, and other corporate initiatives.\nBased in Singapore, the role will serve as a trusted communications partner to business leaders and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have experience in strategic communications, executive communications, employee engagement and change communications, and will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEmployee Engagement\nDevelop compelling content that strengthens employees' understanding of business strategy, organizational priorities and culture\nManage and optimize internal communications channels, including email, intranet, employee meetings, digital platforms and other engagement channels\nExecute global internal communications strategy in the region\nDevelop authentic employee stories and content that showcase our people, culture, career opportunities and employee experience across internal and external channels.\nPartner with HR to develop and execute employer branding strategies and campaigns that support talent attraction, engagement and retention.\nEnsure messaging consistency, brand alignment, and tone of voice across all communications\nAnalyse engagement metrics to measure communications effectiveness\nGather employee feedback and insights to continuously improve messaging and channels\nLeadership & Executive Communications\nProvide communications counsel and support to senior leaders\nDevelop executive messages, talking points, presentations, town hall content, employee announcements and other leadership communications\nHelp leaders communicate complex or sensitive topics clearly, authentically and consistently\nSupport leadership engagement activities, including employee meetings, leadership forums and major organizational announcements\nStrategic Communications Support\nAs part of an integrated Communications & Public Affairs team, the Internal Communications Manager will also:\nSupport external communications, public relations and social media\nPlan and execute corporate events, executive meetings and industry engagements\nAssist with the production of briefing materials, key messages, Q&As and presentations\nCollaborate on integrated campaigns involving external stakeholders and other regions\nSkills & Qualifications\nundefined\nBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field\nAt least 8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExperience supporting executive communications and community management\nStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders\nExperience in video editing, photography and a keen eye in visual communication will be a plus\nComfortable shuttling between strategy and execution, operating as a versatile member of the broader Communications & Public Affairs team who can contribute wherever support is most needed.\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
