Learn more about our benefits.\nAs an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.Key Responsibilities:\n· Good understanding of electrical concepts like three phase power calculations.\n· Good understanding of complex polar and Cartisan calculations for power calculation and estimation.\n· Good understanding of working principles of electrical and electronic components.\n· Good understanding of electrical circuit protection concepts and components.\n· Good understanding of working principles of different types of sensors.\n· Develop an expertise in AC power distribution design in short span of time.\n· Creates and modifies detailed drawings using Computer Aided Design (E3S CAD) hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering in the investigation and solution of technical problems\n· Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.\n· Design or modify electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings or specifications of moderate scope under general supervision\n· Perform basic engineering analysis under general supervision\n· Perform and generate basic engineering test reports; generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product releases\n· Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical or electronic components and equipment, and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues\n· Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems\n· Implement concepts for product issues and electrical solutions of moderate difficulty\n· Assist in the development of electrical product specifications\n· Clearly communicate complex information in straightforward situations\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree\n2-4 years of related experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nA solid understanding of the industry’s key business drivers \nGood communication/interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others \nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
