Learn more about our benefits.\nAs an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.Role Responsibilities:\nExpert level technical support in the resolution of FPGA design and application issues\nDesign or modify electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings or specifications of moderate scope under general supervision\nCreate design and specification documents, test plans and progress reports. \nConduct obsolescence risk assessment for prompt risk mitigation strategy and implementation to ensure product manufacturability and sustenance.\nCoordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.\nParticipate in resolving customer complaints & escalations through root-cause analysis and corrective-preventive actions.\nImplement concepts for product issues and electrical solutions of moderate difficulty \nAssist in the development of electrical product specifications \nClearly communicate complex information in straightforward situations\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication\n1 to 4 years of related experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nA solid understanding of the industry’s key business drivers \nGood communication/interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others \nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
