Learn more about our benefits.\nAs an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.Electrical Engineer\nEducational Qualification:\nDegree / master’s in electrical / Instrumentation Engineering with Below criteria.\nKey Responsibilities:\n· Good understanding of electrical concepts like three phase power calculations.\n· Good understanding of complex polar and cartisan calculations for power calculation and estimation.\n· Good understanding of working principle of electrical and electronic components.\n· Good understanding of electrical circuit protection concepts and components.\n· Good understanding of working principle of different types of sensors.\n· Develop an expertise in AC power distribution design in short span of time.\n· Creates and modifies detailed drawings using Computer Aided Design (E3S CAD) hardware and software from sketches, layouts or notes provided by engineering in the investigation and solution of technical problems\n· Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product.\nJob Specific Knowledge :\n· Knowledge of Electrical engineering design concepts and techniques and ability to read and\nunderstand Electrical Schematics.\n· Knowledge on Electrical CAD tools: E3s, AutoCAD Electrical would be an advantage.\n· Knowledge on PLC’s, drives, and other electrical components and equipment.\n· Ability to work on electrical panel schematics and related documentation.\n· Basic knowledge on Electrical engineering discipline\n· Willing to learn and adapt to new BKM quickly.\n· Knowledge on PLC’s, drives, and selection of other electrical components.\nProblem Solving\n· Medium/complex problems solver; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions\nImpact\nImpacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies\nInterpersonal Skills\nCommunicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view\nExperience:\n3- 5years in Electrical HW design, troubleshooting\nKnowledge of the Semiconductor industry, hands-on experience working lab, test stand setup\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
