Learn more about our benefits.\nRole Responsibilities:\nDesign or modify electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings or specifications of moderate scope under general supervision\n\nPerform basic engineering analysis under general supervision\n\nPerform and generate basic engineering test reports; generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product releases\n\nCoordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical or electronic components and equipment, and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues\n\nTroubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems\n\nImplement concepts for product issues and electrical solutions of moderate difficulty\n\nAssist in the development of electrical product specifications\n\nClearly communicate complex information in straightforward situations\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree\n\n5 - 8 years of related experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nA solid understanding of the industry’s key business drivers\n\nGood communication/interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others\n\nResponsibilities\n·Designing of electrical control panels, interfacing & knowledge in various Power sources\n·Cable & Harness designing for AC modules / capital equipment / Sensors / Temp Controllers etc.\n·Design electrical / electronic engineering assemblies, layouts / schematics and detailed drawings\n·Preparing engineering specification documents, Test specs., interface with other BU engineering depts., software teams and manufacturing teams.\n·Documentation for product release.\n·Reliability Testing\n·To work closely with North America group and suppliers / contract manufacturers\n·Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components/equipment.\n·Identify sources of problems in critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues. Troubleshoot a variety of complex issues, electrical problems.\n·Perform engineering analysis on Field issues, Module Failures, Interact with Filed Engineers for bug resolution\nJob Specific Knowledge\n·Hands on experience in Electronic, Electrical Hardware designs, capital equipment control panel designing.\n·Knowledge in Analog & Digital circuit design.\n·Knowledge in Semi, IEC, ANSI, NEC protocols / Standards\n·Knowledge of component Obsol. & selection, schematic generation, layout reviews\n·Interconnect, Schematic design, cable and harness design\n·Knowledge in UL / CE, Semi Safety requirements\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nYesApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
