Learn more about our benefits.\nJob description - Finance Analyst\nThe Finance OpEx Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting for OpEx spend and Capital Expenditures in a fast-growing, global environment. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate planning, disciplined execution, and clear financial visibility in line with Applied policies and best practices.\nThis position combines strong analytical execution with business partnership. The analyst owns day-to-day Capex and OpEx financial activities, performs both recurring and ad-hoc analyses, and provides insights that support informed decision-making by finance and non-finance stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport end-to-end financial planning and tracking for OpEx spend and Capex, including budget planning, forecasting, execution monitoring, and variance analysis.\nBuild, maintain, and enhance financial models to support capital investment planning, scenario analysis, and long-term capacity investments\nReview, validate, and support approval of capital requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate finance policies\nConsolidate the segment Capex plans and translate data into clear, actionable financial insights\nPrepare detailed financial analysis and commentary for finance and non-finance audiences, including periodic reviews and ad-hoc requests\nAct as a finance business partner to cross-functional teams, supporting prioritization discussions and investment trade-offs\nSupport continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and analytical tools\nKey Qualifications & Competencies\nBachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field\nProven experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budget planning, and financial analysis\nStrong hands-on Excel and analytical capabilities; ability to work with complex datasets\nAbility to interpret financial information and translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations\nProven ability to work effectively with demanding stakeholders across functions and geographies\nCollaborative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams concurrently\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities\nExcellent interpersonal skills, service oriented\nGood verbal and writing skills (English)\n\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
