Learn more about our benefits.\nGas & Chemical Technical Facilities Engineer\nThis is a Technical Facilities Engineer position. This position is to provide technical leadership in the planning, design, configuration, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of Gas & Chemical distribution systems.\nJob Responsibilities:\nOversee the operations, maintenance, and safety of Gas & Chemical distribution systems and to ensure maximum uptime.\nMonitor 3rd party maintenance providers performance and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nCoordinate with multiple groups (planning, construction, safety, G&C service provider, building owners, management, etc.) to meet project or service request requirement and minimize system downtime and business interruptions.\nRespond to business interruptions or internal customer escalations.\nPerform problem solving, troubleshooting, root cause analysis using 8D methodology.\nEnsure that all Gas and Chemical distribution systems operate to design specifications.\nEvaluate system capacities and capabilities and make improvement recommendations.\nForecast budget spending and review supplier invoices.\nIdentify and conceptually scope safety, compliance, capacity, redundancy, and cost savings projects.\nObtain funding and manage projects per scope, schedule & budget.\nReview operation, maintenance, trouble shooting, project commissioning & acceptance, and other related documents for facilities systems; recommend and implement improvements.\nReview and approve building construction, fit-up and tool hook-up designs.\nTake various levels of responsibility for, and participation in the development of, project scope, budget, and schedule.\nProvide technical direction to design engineers throughout the project conceptual design phase, interface with site user groups, other engineering disciplines, local municipalities and/or utilities, trade contractors, and other project stakeholders as required\nEffectively interact with several internal engineering organizations to influence design standards, construction specifications, and operations requirements to ensure these enable construction to meet its Review and approve Chem Auth and MOC\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering\n2-5 years of semiconductor or high purity hazardous gas facilities management experience; or equivalent experience of more than 7 years of facilities management\nAdditional qualifications include:\nWorking experience as a facilities engineer in semiconductor industry\nIndustrial gas and chemical delivery experience or equivalent\nWorking knowledge of gas distribution system and PLC based controls systems\nKnowledge of local Fire, Building and Environmental codes\nStrong analytical skills and knowledge of SPC, 8D, DMAIC, FMEA and other tools\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nForeign language capability a plus\nExperience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and CMMS (e.g.IBM Maximo)\nAbility to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger multi-functional team\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nYesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
