These highly distributed systems capture the images from high-speed scanning systems and perform complex image processing algorithms to detect defects on memories and processors chips.\nRole Description:\nAs a Senior Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software solutions for our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and translate them into architectural designs that meet business needs. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that the software systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.\nKey Responsibilities:\nArchitect and design software solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into architectural designs.\n\nDevelop and maintain architectural guidelines, standards, and best practice\n\nConduct technical reviews and provide guidance to software engineers during the development process.\n\nIdentify and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the software development lifecycle.\n\nEvaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and frameworks to meet project requirements.\n\nLead the design and implementation of complex software components and systems.\n\nEnsure that software systems are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.\n\nMentor and coach junior software architects and engineers.\n\nRequirements:\n12-15 yrs. of experience with B. Tech / MTech /Ph. d in Electronics / Computer Science\n\nProven experience as a Software Architect or similar role with experience of 10+ yrs. in product development\n\nStrong fundamentals and hands-on experience in C++/C programming.\n\nGood Knowledge of python programming and libraries (Ex; NumPy, OpenCV, pandas etc.)\n\nPractical Experience with GPU/CPU Optimization techniques like Overclocking/Memory Optimization/Load Balancing/Hyperthreading/Simultaneous multithreading (SMT).\n\nAdvantage:\nKnowledge on Semiconductor domain.\n\nKnowledge of digital signal processing (DSP)/Deep learning is a plus.\n\nExperience with computing design and benchmarking is a plus.\n\nExperience leading small teams or projects.\n\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
