Within our Installation department, we are looking for our Installation Engineer to support European regions.\nThe iTeam (Installation team) stands for the Installation of semiconductors production equipment across the European Region (mainly Italy, in Germany, Ireland, France).\nWe roll in, assemble, connect, and test the new systems until we hand over to our service team and our customers for the manufacturing of wafers to kick off.\nBeing part of the Install Task Force is more than a job, it is a way of life. As a teamwe travel approx. 75 % of our working time, and also get opportunities to support installations worldwide.\nThis position demands technical expertise, customer focus, team involvement and flexibility to travel.\nFull training on our equipment will be provided through mentoring.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform independently installation tasks (mechanical assembly, electrical connections, robot calibrations), from the integration to the inspection of the tools including troubleshooting in case of issues.\nFollow all checklists and procedures and ensure correct procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work.\nTest equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation and diagnostic techniques.\nRespond to factory issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls. \nParticipate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.\nProvide accurate reporting of status, hours worked and non-conformances. \nAdhere to the security policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.\nSkills and Experience required:\nUniversity Degree or ITS Meccatronico Post - Diploma, degree with technical background (mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar...)\nPosition open to junior profiles.\nTroubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during system installation.\nAbility to communicate daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.\nProject management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline and installation quality requirements.\nAbility to work autonomously.\nGood English communication skills both written and verbal.\nGood Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)\nThe position requires extensive travelling throughout Europe (75% of the time, depending on overall activity requirements) \nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 75% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
