Learn more about our benefits.\nAs a Field Service Engineer [Customer Engineer] at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues. Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.Key Responsibilities\n1. Tool Computing Systems Support\nTroubleshoot and resolve computing infrastructure issues impacting semiconductor manufacturing equipment.\nRespond to and recover from system incidents affecting tool operations.\nSupport the stable operation of customer production environments.\nCollaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues.\n2. Server & Infrastructure Operations\nOperate and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure environments.\nAdminister virtualization, container platforms, storage, and network systems.\nPerform system monitoring and preventive maintenance activities.\nSupport hardware replacement, server recovery, and system restoration.\nAssist with new system deployment, installation, and upgrade projects.\n3.
