Learn more about our benefits.\nRole Responsibilities:\nEnsure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.Adhere to standard purchasing business processes\n\nProactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to Applied factories including resolution of shipment/receiving and billing issues with supplier\n\nPartner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand\n\nDrive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts\n\nNegotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need\n\nDrive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers) with support from Managers\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree\n\n1-2 years of related experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nA solid understanding of the industry’s key business drivers\n\nGood communication/interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others\n\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nNew College GradTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nYesApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
