Learn more about our benefits.\nJob Description: Motion & Control Supplier Engineer\nEnable robust high-volume manufacturing through technical leadership of strategic suppliers and support of complex motion systems throughout their lifecycle.\nWhat you'll be doing?\nLead supplier engineering activities for precision motion systems, stages, bearings, motors, encoders, and related assemblies.\nSupport NPI transitions from R&D to manufacturing at global suppliers.\nDrive supplier qualifications, process validations, and production readiness activities.\nInvestigate and resolve supplier quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.\nConduct supplier audits and identify opportunities for process improvements.\nSupport production ramp-ups while ensuring process control, traceability, and product quality.\nWork closely with R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.\nLead technical projects to improve supplier performance, capacity, quality, and efficiency.\nManage technical escalations and drive corrective actions to closure.\nWhat's in it for you?\nExposure to cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and precision motion technologies.\nOpportunity to lead critical supplier development and NPI activities.\nWork with global suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nInfluence manufacturing strategies and supplier roadmaps.\nTake part in complex engineering challenges and high-impact projects.\nWhat you should have?\nB.Sc. in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering - Must\n5+ years of engineering experience - Must\nExperience working with external suppliers and manufacturing environments - Must\nExperience in semiconductor equipment industry - Advantage\nExperience with motion systems, stages, bearings, motors, encoders, or automation equipment - Advantage\nExperience conducting supplier audits and supporting production ramp-ups- Advantage\nStrong technical understanding of precision mechanical or electromechanical systems.\nExperience with Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, and problem-solving methodologies.\nStrong communication and project management skills.\nWillingness to travel internationally as needed.\nWho we are?\nApplied Materials Israel is home to the Process Diagnostics and Control business unit (PDC).
