Learn more about our benefits.\nPosition Summary\nThe Production and Control Planner is responsible for supporting material control, inventory transactions, quality notification implementation, and project execution activities. The role serves as a key point of contact for part status inquiries and ensures accurate inventory management and system transactions to support manufacturing operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nPart Status Management\nRespond to ad hoc part status queries from internal stakeholders including Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.\nProvide timely updates on material availability, inventory status, shortages, and open orders.\nInvestigate and resolve discrepancies related to part status and inventory records.\nQuality Notification (QN) Implementation\nCoordinate and execute Quality Notification (QN) implementation activities.\nWork closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to minimize operational impact from quality-related issues and changes\nProduction Control and Scheduling Support\nPerform SAP transactions to support material movements, goods receipts, inventory transfers, and stock adjustments.\nEnsure inventory transactions are executed accurately and in accordance with company procedures.\nInvestigate and correct transaction-related discrepancies as required.\nSupport project execution by placing project materials into On-Hand inventory status.\nMaintain inventory accuracy and ensure project materials are available to support operational requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material, inventory, and production status are aligned with project milestone and operational requirements.\nRequired Qualifications\nDiploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Business, or a related discipline.\nExperience in manufacturing, production control, inventory management, or supply chain operations.\nKnowledge of SAP, particularly MIGO transactions, is preferred.\nFamiliarity with Quality Notification (QN) processes is an advantage.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong attention to detail and data accuracy.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nTimely response to part status queries.\nAccuracy of inventory transactions (MIGO).\nQN implementation completion rate.\nInventory accuracy for project materials.\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nNoRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
