Learn more about our benefits.\nAs a Process Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor manufacturing technologies. You will collect and analyze data, perform hardware characterization, and troubleshoot engineering issues. You'll also measure film properties, generate technical documentation, and engage with customers to resolve concerns. Process Engineers collaborate with vendors and suppliers, and become familiar with implementing new technologies and products. You will experiment, learn, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the semiconductor and display industries, partnering with our globally recognized R&D teams on state-of-the-art research and development projects. Role Responsibilities:\nDesign, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products\n\nUtilize techniques, define methods, and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a high number of complex systems for multiple products\n\nGenerate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and create process engineering specifications\n\nDevelop, plan, and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelines\n\nTrain engineers in measurement techniques of film properties and guide them in the interpretation of the data, new methodologies, troubleshooting techniques and issue resolution\n\nCommunicate and engage with customers to resolve a broad spectrum of complex process engineering issues, with limited supervision\n\nDesign and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation\n\nIdentify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers with limited to no supervision\n\nLead functional teams or projects, as needed\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a related field\n\n7-10 years of related experience\n\nDemonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving\n\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 20% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
