Learn more about our benefits.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Project Status (PS) team member is responsible for tracking NPI material requirements and availability, identifying shortages, communicating material status, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support on-time R&D and pilot builds.\nThe role focuses on Four key areas:\nNPI Material Tracking and Readiness\nTrack and analyze material requirements, availability, shortages, inventory, receipts, and long-lead items to support R&D and pilot builds. Maintain accurate project-level material status using SAP, Excel, MRP/ERP systems, and manufacturing databases, and identify risks that could impact build schedules.\nCross-Functional Coordination and Communication\nServe as central point of coordination for project-level material status across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Buyers, Materials Program Managers, and Commodity Business Managers. Translate build requirements and priority changes into clear material actions, lead material status reviews, communicate shortages and schedule impacts, track commitments, and follow up with stakeholders to drive issues to closure.\nShortage Management and Escalation\nIdentify material shortages and supply constraints that could impact build schedules. Communicate risks and priorities, track recovery actions, and escalate issues when material requirements or commitments are not met.\nMaterial and Build Execution Support\nCoordinate material transfers between Engineering, Manufacturing, and manufacturing sites; support inventory transactions; track receipts and approvals; and help ensure materials are available when needed to support scheduled builds.\nFunctional Knowledge\nStrong understanding of NPI manufacturing, material planning and shortage management, MRP/ERP systems, BOMs, procurement and inventory processes, with advanced Excel skills to track and analyze material readiness against build schedules.\nBusiness Expertise\nAbility to coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement to ensure material readiness and support on-time builds.\nLeadership\nThe PS team member is a visible leader who may be responsible for multiple programs/projects across multiple time zones. \nProblem Solving\nAbility to analyze material shortages and supply constraints, determine schedule impact and root causes, prioritize critical issues, and coordinate corrective actions to support on-time NPI builds. \nInterpersonal Skills\nAbility to present in small and large groups is critical to success in this position\nQualifications\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree with Supply Chain Management Emphasis and exposure to Operations and Project Management\nYears of Experience: 4 - 7 Years\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
