Learn more about our benefits.\nAn SAP HANA Administrator, DB2, MAXDB and QLIK Admin is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing databases and pipeline databases. The role ensures system availability, performance, security, and reliability while supporting both project and operational requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Installation & Configuration\nInstall and configure SAP HANA database systems, including multi-tenant (MDC) and scale-out environments.\nDeploy and configure SAP HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, SAP Host Agent, and related components.\nPerform system provisioning, including tenant database creation and system renaming.\n2. System Administration\nManage system start/stop, parameter tuning, and system health checks.\nPerform regular housekeeping tasks such as log management, disk management, and memory optimization.\nMonitor CPU, memory, network, and disk usage using HANA Cockpit, DBACOCKPIT, and OS tools.\n3. Backup, Recovery & DR\nDesign and implement backup and recovery strategies (file, storage snapshots, Backint).\nValidate and perform system refreshes, recoveries, and disaster recovery testing.\nManage HANA system replication (HSR) and failover operations.\n4. Security & User Administration\nManage roles, privileges, users, and authentication methods.\nEnsure compliance with security policies, encryption (SSL/TLS), auditing, and secure store configurations.\nCoordinate periodic security patching and system hardening.\n5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization\nAnalyze and resolve performance bottlenecks, slow queries, and memory pressure.\nWork with development and functional teams to optimize SQL queries and models.\n6. Upgrades & Patching\nPlan and execute HANA version upgrades,QLIK, Db2.\nApply SAP Notes and maintain current documentation of change activities.\n7. Landscape Support\nSupport SAP Application Databases - SAP Hana, DB2, MAXDB and QLIK\nCollaborate with BASIS, infra, networking, and storage teams.\nManage multi-environment landscapes: DEV, QA, UAT, PROD.\n8. Troubleshooting\nDiagnose system failures, performance issues, and replication problems.\nInterface with SAP OSS to resolve complex incidents.\nRespond to system alerts and provide on-call support when required.\n9.QLIK Admin:\n Configuration of QLIK and setup the endpoint connections\n Fixing QLIK interface issues with Source database and target Databricks\n Coordination with other teams\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nTechnical Skills\nStrong expertise in SAP HANA 2.0 administration, Db2, QLIK and MAXDB Database Administration.\nExperience with Linux OS administration (SUSE/RHEL).\nKnowledge of HANA architecture, Db2 Architecture, QLIK, BDC, memory management, and column-store concepts.\nExperience with HANA system replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.\nFamiliarity with SAP, NetWeaver, and SAP application integration.\nProficiency in SQL, performance monitoring, and trace analysis.\nUnderstanding of cloud-based deployments Azure\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nGood communication and documentation skills.\nAbility to work in 24/7 support environments and handle production-critical issues.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.\n12+ years of experience in SAP HANA and Database administration\nSAP certifications (optional but preferred):SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA\n\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
