Learn more about our benefits.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to help engineer, administer, automate, and continuously improve our enterprise Microsoft 365 environment.\nThis is a hands-on technical role for someone with broad expertise across the Microsoft 365 platform and a strong record of operating services at enterprise scale. The successful candidate will combine deep Microsoft 365 administration skills with modern automation capabilities, including advanced PowerShell, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph, and the development of Microsoft 365 Copilot agents.\nYou will work across platform engineering, operations, governance, security, and user enablement. You will help reduce manual effort, improve service reliability, introduce responsible AI-powered solutions, and establish repeatable engineering patterns that can be supported at scale.\nIf you enjoy Engineering\nAdminister, configure, and optimize Microsoft 365 services in a large enterprise environment.\n\nProvide engineering expertise across Microsoft 365 workloads, including:\nMicrosoft 365 Copilot\n\nMicrosoft Teams\n\nSharePoint Online and OneDrive\n\nMicrosoft 365 Apps\n\nMicrosoft Entra ID\n\nMicrosoft Purview and associated compliance capabilities\n\nDefine and maintain platform standards, configuration baselines, governance controls, and administrative operating procedures.\n\nEvaluate changes, releases, and service updates; assess their technical and operational impact and develop implementation plans.\n\nLead and support pilots, migrations, feature rollouts, service enhancements, and adoption initiatives.\n\nPartner with security, identity, compliance, networking, endpoint engineering, architecture, and operations teams.\n\nCopilot and Agent Development\nDesign, build, test, deploy, and support Microsoft 365 Copilot agents that address business and IT use cases.\n\nDevelop solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder, SharePoint agents, and Copilot Studio, as appropriate.\n\nDeploy and support Copilot connectors that securely ground agents in approved enterprise data sources.\n\nDevelop governance frameworks, standards, and review processes for Copilot agents, including ownership, data access, compliance, security, and lifecycle management expectations.\n\nImplement lifecycle processes for agent intake, review, deployment, monitoring, change management, and retirement.\n\nAutomation and Power Platform Engineering\nIdentify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes and replace them with reliable automation.\n\nDesign, develop, and support cloud flows, approval workflows, scheduled processes, and integrations using Power Automate.\n\nIntegrate Microsoft 365 services with internal systems and approved external services using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, connectors, and webhooks.\n\nEstablish appropriate ownership, monitoring, error handling, documentation, and support models for production automations.\n\nPowerShell Development\nDevelop production-quality PowerShell scripts, modules, and automation runbooks for Microsoft 365 administration and reporting.\n\nUse advanced PowerShell practices, including modular design, parameter validation, structured logging, exception handling, secure authentication, testing, and source control.\n\nAutomate activities such as provisioning, configuration management, policy deployment, license administration, lifecycle management, auditing, and reporting.\n\nModernize manual administrative procedures and legacy scripts into secure, supportable automation.\n\nGovernance, Security, and Operational Excellence\nImplement governance controls for identity, access, sharing, applications, agents, connectors, data, and service lifecycle management.\n\nWork with security and compliance teams to address data protection, retention, auditing, eDiscovery, access control, and regulatory requirements.\n\nMonitor service health, platform usage, adoption, configuration compliance, and automation performance.\n\nAct as a senior escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 incidents and service degradation.\n\nCoordinate complex escalations with internal operations teams and Microsoft support.\n\nMaintain architectural diagrams, configuration records, runbooks, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.\n\nProvide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to engineering and support teams.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of hands-on experience engineering and administering Microsoft 365 services in a large or complex enterprise environment.\n\nBroad administrative experience across the Microsoft 365 platform, with demonstrated depth in major workloads such as Copilot, Teams, SharePoint Online/OneDrive, Entra ID, and Microsoft Purview.\n\nAdvanced PowerShell development experience, including building and maintaining production-quality scripts and modules.\n\nHands-on experience developing and supporting Power Automate flows and other low-code or API-based automations.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing or developing Copilot agents, conversational solutions, or comparable AI-powered business solutions.\n\nExperience with Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder, SharePoint agents.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Graph API, including REST/SDKs, app registrations, permissions, OAuth, credential options, and least-privilege access.\n\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 identity, licensing, security, compliance, and governance concepts.\n\nExperience delivering enterprise implementations, migrations, pilots, and feature rollouts.\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills across identity, permissions, policies, APIs, applications, clients, and cloud services.\n\nExperience creating technical documentation, operational procedures, and communications for both technical and nontechnical audiences.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively across engineering, security, operations, support, and business teams.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience deploying Copilot connectors for approved enterprise data sources.\n\nExperience with Azure Automation, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, or related integration services.\n\nFamiliarity with Dataverse and Power Platform environment, connector, and DLP governance.\n\nExperience applying software-engineering practices to infrastructure and administrative automation, including Git, code review, testing, CI/CD, and release management.\n\nExperience establishing monitoring, telemetry, usage reporting, or operational KPIs for Microsoft 365 services and automations.\n\nKnowledge of responsible AI, information protection, data oversharing risks, and security considerations for grounded agents.\n\nRelevant Microsoft
