Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. As a Sensor & Camera Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing the roadmap for next generation sensors and sensing solutions. You’ll be part of culture that encourages learning, experimentation, and professional growth.\nRole RESPONSIBILITIES\n· Develop and own multi-generation sensor and camera system requirements\n· Define and drive implementation of multi-year roadmap for sensor development\n· Develop sensor design houses and vendors to meet performance, schedule, and cost targets\n· Operate in close collaboration with program management, systems, marketing, hardware (optical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering), SW & Algo development teams.\n· Come up with and spearhead novel technical sensing solutions to match market needs.\n· Identify and troubleshoot a range of complex engineering problems. Guide system and electrical designers and engineers to implement and deliver solutions as a team.\n· Operate as highly technical project manager and leader in semi-matrix system.\n· Use effective communication and presentation skills and tools including clear and concise visual tools like diagrams and scorecards, leverage available and emerging analytical analysis and AI tools to drive the design and development decisions with incomplete information. Provide effective documentation.\n· Conduct effective design reviews according to Program / PLC development process.\n· Develop and implement sensor & camera calibrations, diagnostics, test plans and procedures.\n· Support system integration and calibrations efforts.\n· Collaborate effectively with and support SW development, manufacturing, reliability, and service teams. Generate requirements, procedures & guidance.
