Learn more about our benefits.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare project plans and drive projects from conception and planning through implementation, contributing to the strategies, processes, and resourcing that support them.\nManage project schedule and task detail using project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and scheduling software.\nCoordinate resources allocated from within the Division to meet on-time and on-budget objectives; initiate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.\nDrive cost and schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide.\nPartner with software, systems, hardware, platform, applications, field, and product management teams - including internal, external, and matrixed members - and provide technical input to help them meet project goals.\nEstablish clear communication channels, define project objectives with the division, provide regular program updates to engineering leadership and key stakeholders, and prepare for release and deployment.\nProvide engineering and business process expertise to team members on standard programs and issues.\nWhat You'll Do?\nLead complex, multi-quarter software programs spanning cross-functional engineering teams and critical customer deliverables.\nOwn end-to-end program execution: planning, prioritization, risk management, validation, and release.\nTranslate business and customer requirements into actionable technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.\nDrive system-level problem solving across software, hardware, and engineering domains to deliver robust, scalable solutions for advanced equipment.\nIdentify and resolve technical and programmatic dependencies, balancing product priorities, schedules, and quality objectives.\nChampion engineering excellence, operational rigor, and continuous improvement across development processes.\nWhat You Bring?\n10+ years of experience in software development or equipment-control software development.\n3+ years leading complex technical projects or programs in a product engineering environment.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycles, system architecture, and large-scale engineering programs.\nDemonstrated success delivering cross-functional programs involving software, hardware, systems, and product stakeholders.\nProven ability to drive execution, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in fast-paced, customer-driven environments.\nStrong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with attention to detail and a focus on business impact.\nAbility to understand technical challenges and engage effectively with engineering teams to drive resolution.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.\nExperience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing or managing software for complex equipment, industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing systems, or semiconductor products.\nFamiliarity with equipment control, machine control systems, distributed software architectures, or real-time systems.\nHands-on software development experience in Java, C++, or related technologies.\nBackground transitioning from software engineering into technical program management.\nExperience leading global engineering teams and coordinating across multiple organizations.\nMinimum Qualifications\nDoctorate (Academic) degree and 10 years of related work experience; or\nMaster's degree and 10 years of related work experience; or\nBachelor's degree and 15+ years of related work experience.\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
